Man in critical condition at Syracuse hospital after crash in Utica

Syracuse, N.Y. — A man is in critical condition in a Syracuse hospital after he was struck by a car in Utica, police said.
The crash was reported at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday at South and Genesee streets.
The man was found in the road with multiple injuries, according to Lt. Michael Curley, a spokesperson for the Utica Police Department. He was first taken to Wynn Hospital in Utica, before later being flown to a Syracuse-area hospital.
